Your Role
As a Jurist at GoGift, you will enjoy a varied workday with a broad range of tasks and areas of responsibility. You will have stakeholders across all departments within GoGift, as well as external customers and partners. Your work will not be limited by geography, but will be shaped by international collaborations, and you will support the business with a large volume of daily contracts, legal questions, and corporate law matters. You will participate in negotiations, improve templates and processes, and serve as a trusted point of contact for colleagues across GoGift. This is a great opportunity for a lawyer to build broad in-house experience within sales, tech, and global business.
Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of areas, including:
- Drafting, reviewing & negotiating contracts and NDAs
- Participation in tenders/RFQs
- GDPR/data protection
- Regulation of financial markets, tech and AI
- Responding to all kinds of ad hoc queries
- Developing policies, procedures and other compliance tasks
- Organizing and maintaining the contract database
- Reporting and compliance investigations
What do you bring to the table?
We imagine you hold a master's degree, can.jur or can.merc.jur. You have a few years of experience, preferably in-house, and a solid commercial perspective with a good understanding of how to articulate and realize conversations about legislation and opportunities.
You are comfortable using AI and other productivity tools that support internal legal work. You have a strong organizational sense and attention to detail, as well as an interest in simplifying legal issues and building trust with non-legal stakeholders.
You have a keen interest in international collaborations and contracts, have experience with several of the tasks described above, and wish to develop further in the field. You understand how to work with deadlines and organize your work accordingly.
Linguistically, you are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of and skills in Spanish, German, or Chinese is an advantage, but not a requirement.
What can you expect at GoGift?
You will become part of our legal department, which currently consists of our General Counsel, Director of Compliance, Anne Brandt Christensen, and a student assistant. There is an open culture in the team where daily tasks and deadlines are handled with a can-do attitude.
At GoGift, you will enjoy a workday in an international company with great ambitions in an informal environment. The Strandgade office is composed of people from diverse professional, educational, and cultural backgrounds, which gives everyday life a global touch, as your network will span all departments and roles.
