Job Description:
The Merchant Field Sales Executive – Hunter – Large Accounts is responsible for acquiring new large merchant partners into the Pluxee acceptance network through in-person field sales efforts. This role plays a pivotal role in expanding the network’s strategic footprint and ensuring consumers (employees) have access to high-value, relevant, and accessible redemption points. Focused on face-to-face engagements, sector targeting, and solution selling, the Hunter contributes directly to Pluxee’s growth and ecosystem strength in the local market.YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Responsibilities:
1. Merchant Acquisition and Pipeline Management
Identify, qualify, and pursue high-potential large merchants across assigned sectors or geographies
Conduct in-person visits and meetings with decision-makers to present Pluxee’s value proposition and tailor offers
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract signing and onboarding coordination
Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of prospects using Salesforce CRM with real-time updates
Track and report key acquisition metrics including conversion rate, deal size, and cycle time
2. Commercial Execution and Negotiation
Lead commercial discussions with prospective large merchants, addressing their operational, fiscal, or marketing needs
Collaborate with legal, onboarding, and product teams to ensure contractual and operational feasibility
Prepare and deliver formal proposals, price structures, and partnership terms in alignment with Pluxee strategy
Execute tender submissions or documentation when required in public or semi-public large accounts
3. Market Insight and Collaboration
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and sector-specific needs to improve merchant targeting
Provide feedback to the Merchant Field Sales Manager on lead quality, market dynamics, and barriers to acquisition
Collaborate with Merchant Marketing to align acquisition efforts with ongoing campaigns and ecosystem positioning
Share insights with product teams to help shape solutions based on merchant needs
YOU ARE A MATCH IF...
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Work Experience:
3+ years of B2B sales or partnership experience, with a proven track record in acquiring large or strategic accounts
Experience in field-based commercial roles with face-to-face stakeholder engagement
Familiarity with merchant networks, benefits platforms, or digital services is a strong advantage
Skills & Certifications:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills
Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Self-driven and able to work independently in a field-based, target-oriented environment
Languages:
For global, regional, or area roles, fluency in English is required. Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, or other relevant languages are an advantage.
For local country leadership and management roles, fluency in the local language and English is required.
For local individual contributor roles, fluency in the local language is required. English is considered an advantage as it supports communication, learning, and collaboration in a multinational context.
