Role Purpose
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-impact technology initiatives across the full project lifecycle — from conception through to delivery and optimisation. Operating at a mid-to-senior level, this role bridges the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and client requirements, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
The role combines deep technical understanding with project leadership, strategic alignment, and stakeholder engagement, playing a pivotal role in shaping technical strategy and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with technical teams and both internal and client stakeholders; present project updates and risks to senior leadership
- Technical Governance: Drive architectural decisions and best practices; ensure security vulnerabilities are remediated in line with compliance procedures
- Process Improvement: Drive process and product improvements; facilitate root cause analysis and post-implementation reviews
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop team members; manage client-facing project alignment
- Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks; negotiate timelines and resource allocation across competing priorities
What You Bring
- 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex technology initiatives
- Strong technical background — able to engage with code and architecture at a detailed level
- Proven stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
- Experience in agile and traditional delivery methodologies
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
