About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting core accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to support day-to-day accounting functions, help ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end close journal entries and ensure accounting classifications comply with GAAP
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthly financial review preparation and variance analysis
- Reconcile daily cash receipts and funding transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Reconcile monthly order activity and investigate discrepancies as needed
- Investigate unusual or outlier payment and funding activity and escalate issues as needed
- Process Accounts Payable transactions and accurately code expenses within the general ledger
- Prepare and issue Accounts Receivable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Partner with operations and finance team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and support business needs
- Support annual financial audits, tax filings, and 1099 reporting processes
- Review and maintain finance-related Salesforce records and workflow queues daily
- Support process improvement and documentation initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (Deep Internship Experience OK)
- Understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, bill.com, and Salesforce
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting processes
- Experience supporting audits or accounting process improvements
- Progress toward CPA certification preferred

Base salary for this role ranges from $72.5k–$83k, and is eligible for up to a 5% annual bonus, and is commensurate with experience and location
